Started his entrepreneurial journey in his early twenties when he opened a small outdoor retail shop and proceeded to grow it into 5 store regional chain with outdoor, experiential learning, resort lodging, and  international adventure travel divisions . Business components included; business travel services, property management, retail, rental, training, food, lodging, retreat facilities and organizational development.

He has successfully turned around numerous distressed businesses both as an outside consultant and as an invested partner.

As a consultant he has provided sales, marketing, communications, operations and strategic planning services for individual proprietors to multi-national corporations in the franchise, retail, travel, hospitality, agriculture, manufacturing and technology sectors.

Serving as Director of Franchise develop for business/ financial services franchise provided him insight into essential aspects required for success in the franchise environment and his comfortable communication style allows him to provide honest advice in a straight forward fashion.

He has lived in 5 countries and over 10 U.S. cities, plus has traveled to most of the U.S. and many parts of the world. He is very familiar with most areas of the country, and is quite likely very aware of what kind of business would work best in your area.

A consummate people person, he engages most people he meets from, field hand to dignitary, this has  provided him with an extensive network and opportunities to work with, learn from and advise top corporate and governmental leaders.  

An outdoor adventure and advocate of healthy living, he now resides in Napa, Ca. where he spends his free time cycling, gardening, fly fishing, cooking and sharing his appreciation of fine wines with family, friends and visitors.
